Mixed 9-hole scramble July 20th

For the penultimate 9-hole mixed scramble for 2018 we had an excellent turn-out of 30 players. Many thanks to all who supported this fun event all summer

 

Winners were Peter Gill, Louise Hunt, Mary Coyle and Tom Lynch with 29

 

Second were Colin Sheridan, Emily McHugo, Lorraine Iatridis and Captain Martin Sherry 30.

 

Final scramble of the summer is at 6.45 on Friday 3rd August.

Congratulations to Declan Smith, winner of President Mr Tom Hutchinson's Prize for 2018. A steady round of 62 in the morning qualifier and an excellent 30 in the evening playoff left Declan 2 shots clear of the field and enabled him to pick up his third "Major" in Virginia Golf Club

Peter Foran put on a display this past weekend, shooting an incredible Nett 57 to win the Men’s Singles Stroke by 2 shots from Shane McHugh. It’s good to see so many coming into form at this time of year.
